COURSE PRESENTERS
The trainers for SRL ASSOCIATES are all highly qualified in their field and are constantly updating their skills. Consequently they have all studied for and passed the Vocational Training Certificate (VTC) for the Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor and currently act as DGSA Consultants for a number of companies.
Yvonne McCarthy MIEx(Grad), DGSA. (road), Certificate of Management (Open)
is responsible for the training side of the Company and is continuously monitoring courses to ensure a high quality. Yvonne has many years of experience co-ordinating a European and Export Sales Department. She has lectured at Clarendon College, Nottingham, on the courses for the professional examinations of the Institute of Export. Yvonne’s specialist knowledge is on Hazardous Goods Procedures and she has attained IATA qualification for the processing of Hazardous Goods by Air. Yvonne is also RSA qualified for NVQ assessments and Internal Verifier.
Paul Travers MIEx., DGSA (road)
has a wealth of ‘hands-on’ export experience from over 20 years working in Freight Forwarding and Manufacturing companies and presents some of our Export courses as well as specialising in Freight Forwarding, Export Marketing and Hazardous Goods courses. Paul is also a member of our DGSA team
Mick Blunt DGSA. COTC(WAMITAB)
has had 29 years experience in transport and 23 years carrying dangerous goods extensively throughout Europe. Mick holds a CPC for National/lnternational, 7 classes ADR. HGV I ROSPA Gold Advanced driver certificate and has qualified as a DGSA (all classes) by road and rail. Mick is currently studying Waste Management and has gained his WAMITAB certificate for management and treatment of Biodegradable waste products. Mick has qualified as a "CDM Co-ordinator" for the construction industry.
Andy Garside Cert Ed., DGSA (road)
Andy joined our growing band of DGSA's in 2007 and is actively involved in the DGSA Consultancy. He has been involved in training since 1988 and holds a FE Teachers certificate after developing and running many training programmes at all levels. He looks forward to assisting in maintaining and presenting our Hazardous Goods & Waste Management courses. Andy has also attained IATA qualification for the processing of Hazardous Goods by Air.
Sheila M Lunn MIEx(Grad)., DGSA (road)
Sheila formed SRL Associates in 1984 prior to which she was a Training Officer with the Manpower Services Commission in Training within Industry (TWI) Sheila now heads our team of Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors as well as assisting in the running of our Import and Export courses.
